Butterfly Bracelet

I've been messing around with the idea of making butterflies out of wire for a while now, and I've finally come up with something.

Butterflies

I then made a few more and now have a bracelet.

Stretchy Rainbow Chainmaille

This stretchy cuff bracelet is a present for a friend who's graduating this week. I hope she likes it!

Rainbow Cuff

The weave is Euro 6-in-1. The black rings are stretchy EPDM rubber, and the coloured ones are anodized aluminium, all 18 gauge 3/16" inner diameter. (1.2mm wire, 5mm ID)

I think I'm going to make one in shades of purple for myself.

Grundisburgh Villiage Show

The show went quite well.

I had lots of interest in my jewellery, and even made a few sales! I had a few suggestions of what people would be interested in, and hope to have made some of these by the next time I have a stall.

Thank you to everyone who looked and commented, and especially to those who bought something!

Grundisburgh Villiage Show...

is this weekend, and I shall be there!

Saturday 12:30 - 16:30 on the Playing Field

Hopefully there won't be too much rain.

Introduction

I've started this blog to record my foray into the world of jewellery making, and to showcase my work.

I make jewellery out of sterling silver and semi-precious stones at my home in Suffolk. Most of the work I do is wire based, but I have started experimenting with sheet metal as well.

I hope to sell some of the things I make at local venues, and eventually open an online shop.
